Although it has never been used, it is safe to label this as "USED". The condition is very good. Has some scuffs just from sitting around corner of a workshop. This product can be used as Precision Ball Screw by disassembling the product.
The technology is nothing more than a "transformation" of Rotational dynamics to Linear.
For a moment I had considered to replace my Maximat lathe Z-axis acme screw by this ball screw instead of it sitting around and collecting dust.
Travels from up to to 1440mm
You can use an inline or side mount motors; no motor is included
Comes with limit switches at both ends of travel
Vertical load estimated to >= 125 kg (275 lb.) is assumed but not sure
Enclosed piece body prevents dust from entering mechanism and stiffens the slide
Enclosed profile eliminates the need for bellows covers that reduce travel
Ball screw pitch is not determined
You may use NEMA 23 or NEMA 34 steeper motor mount or servo motor of the same size can be used but not supplied.
This actuator was purchased for nearly 00 plus shipping with hopes of utilizing it in print machine that did not come to materialized.
This item is heavy. Packaging can be tricky although I do have some rigged enclosure for it.
